Sure this posting will have several visits "free" just for the title, haha, but it's just that the comment of last book read: "Hacker Conspiracy" Reuben H. Rivers .
could be summarized as a short historical overview of events related to technology with a focus on hackers ( hacker understood not as the caricature of a terrorist, of course ).
The book is telling the story of how they arise early computer networks, the first communities that believed in freedom of knowledge, the thin line separating a lot to be delinquent, having even some cases of hackers who have been sentenced by the courts. Who has not heard of Captain Crunch cereal and the whistle that was used to phone?
I found interesting to read all these facts had read individually on several occasions and long ... it never hurts to be the movie once, run and chronologically. However, the simplicity with which events are narrated but allows a person not understood in the art to "digest" the info, drops at times in inaccuracies or even strange Translation? ( the author is from Argentina, so I guess I wrote the book in English ) as flames "Finder" to a browser or browser.
In short I seemed interesting from a historical standpoint, the more boring from the point of view of expectations ( if, once again the damn expectations), as the title suggested to me something much more entertaining, revealing secrets or something. .. but no ... Single Story.
PD: When I find the link on Amazon.com the book costs $ 11, ha ha ha, I bought it in 2 lucas. Any time you win one tell me: D
